Should I? Would I? Could I?
Questions! Questions galore. So, I've kind of dreamed on and off about what it would be like to be a food reviewer. I love food. Love, love, love food. Maybe a little too much. I love eating food, watching shows about food, reading about food, looking at pretty pictures of food and most of the time, cooking food. I say most of the time because the thought of cleaning up sometimes is a bit of a deterrant but not usually.
I casually mentioned this to Abbey in a conversation we had recently and she pointed me in the direction of the Well Fed Network blogs (she is a regular contributor to 2 of their blogs). So I went there and checked them out, and 2 blogs caught my attention. One was Edible TV (great for food show fans) and the other was Well Fed On the Town. I would occasionally pop in to check out what's new, read up on restaurant review in towns I've never been to but would love to visit, and find out what's happening in the world of food television (Food Network specifically - my TV at home is either on 1. Playhouse Disney, 2. Noggin or 3. Food Network).
Then last night, this post really caught my eye.... It simply reads"Writers Wanted!" I read the description and my heart started racing. I immediately wondered... Oh should I (submit an email)? Would I (be accepted)? Could I (be great at this and live one of my dreams)? I mean the description reads so tantalizingly delicious....
"Do you love eating out?" - Yes yes I do!!! A little too much for my budget even....
Salivate over upcoming food events? - Uh huh....
Cherish cooking courses and spa weekends? - I would love to attend a cooking course and who doesn't like a spa visit. I usually only get to go for a day. To go for a weekend would be simply over the top!!!
So, should I? Would I? Could I? What do you think?
P.S. The only person who is ever so sweet and write comments to me is dear Abbey. So, for the rest of you, now's your time. I have no idea who's reading my blog but if you are, here's your great opportunity to write something back. :) Unless there's no one reading this but Abbey and Carter (who thinks it might be inappropriate to comment in his wife's blog) in which case, oh well - sob.

PS At least Carter reads your blog...Drew never even glances at mine. He says that it's my own personal space to say whatever I want. I guess I should take advantage of it and bad mouth him every once in a while then, huh? :) Hee hee hee!!
Shoot me an email. We'll talk and see if it's definitely something for you. Sounds like you'd be a good addition to the team.
